ELLEN HARTLEY was baptised on 24 May 1829 in Halifax, Yorkshire.⁽⁴⁾ She was born about 1833. She was still alive in 1892 as she witnessed marriage certificate of
William Edward Edge - her son. WILLIAM RICHARD EDGE and ELLEN HARTLEY had the following children:

Stayed at 15 The Mead with Edge family about 1940 (during rationing)
as she had been asked to leave a home for the elderly as she was
impossible and had no where else to go. Continued to be impossible and
left at Stan Edge's request and not heard of again.
